Northern Grapevines

After a jam packed 10 days with Matt, he dropped me off on 395 and I hitchhiked back to Bishop. I had a few hours to rest in the park, and then my friends Malcolm picked me up. We bought some food for another week or so and headed into Death Valley. We camped in Eureka Valley the first night and then drove through Crater to get to the rest of the park.

We headed up the beautiful Red Wall Canyon and spent a few days in the remote northern grapevines. As per usual, we did not see another hiker the whole two day trip. Despite the low traffic, we got very lucky on the hitch back, getting a ride almost instantly.
