Mt. Agassiz is the easiest peak to climb in the Palisade Cluster, but it still has stunning views. It took me a bit under three hours to reach the summit from South Lake. After a 6 mile hike on the trail hang a left near Bishop Pass and pick a chute to head up to the top. Most of the chutes go at class two.
