In 2023, after hitchhiking across the United States with my friend Elliot, I took a train down to Georgia and hiked the Appalachian Trail. I started in Amicalola Falls State Park in Georgia on 4/9/23. I finished my hike on Mt. Katahdin on 8/5/23. It took me 118 days to hike the trail, including 18 zeroes. (13 for Lyme disease, 4 for trail days/wedding and 1 for a storm)
In between, I fell in love with the Appalachian Mountains. I Saw countless sunrises, sunsets, storms and even slept in a few shelters. I may write up a detailed trip report here one day, but for now, here is my 52 minute film and my my six rolls of film from the trip.
