My friend Dan was coming to town, and I wanted to show him the beautiful local hiking the Bay Area has to offer. Adam, Dan, Noe, Connor, Ari and I all met up in downtown SF, took the bus to the South end of the Golden Gate Bridge, and walked north. We went through the headlands, through Muir Woods, summited Mt. Tam (or its east peak anyways), and then hiked down to Corte Madera, where we caught the bus back to San Francisco. This is a public transit hiking classic.
