I hiked Mt. Abbot in May 2021 with Stephen and Ari. It was Stephen’s first hike like this, but he did great. We went earlier in the season, as we heard the chute is less sketchy in the snow then when it is loose and sandy. The summit offers panoramic views of the Central Sierra.
