Had a spare day between trips in June 2022, so Noe, Mitchy, Ari and I headed up the south fork of Big Pine creek. They headed for Middle Palisade, but I decided to scamper up Mt. Gayley instead. Mt. Gayley is a beautiful peak with excellent views of the Palisades and the Palisade Glacier.
