Mt. Morgan (S)

I had a few days between trips in Fall 2023 in the High Sierra.

I stayed with my friend Kevin for the night and we planned to climb a peak the next day. At sunrise the next morning, Kevin, Kendra and Adam all set out for Mt. Morgan North.

The West ridge of Mt. Morgan was fun scrambling, with just a few short section of class IV. I felt strong aerobically and on the climbing. We took the class I route on the way down, which made for a good loop. Was a great day out with friends in the High Sierra!

After the trip, I hitchhiked down to Bishop, and visited some friends down there.
