After hiking the CDT, buying a van, hiking, hiking 50 miles on the PCT with friends, I was finally back in the Sierra. My friend George hit me up and asked if I wanted to go for a hike. We decided on Mt. Warren, my 90th SPS peak. It was a short and beautiful hike, and we both marveled at how surprising it was that we saw no one. For how crowded a few spots in California are, there are hundreds more empty and beautiful places.
