With the Delta variant surging, we decided not to head home for Christmas as originally planned, and went to Death Valley instead. Days were short and Ari was nursing an injury, so we did not make it that far, but we enjoyed spending the holiday in a beautiful place.
The general route was to start at the south end of Westside road, walk up Hidden Spring Canyon and then we cut north to Warm Spring. From there we walked the road back to the car.
