Sunol Trace

Tracing means hiking every trail in a park. It was formerly known as redlining, but was changed, as redlining is also the name for a racially motivated form of exclusionary zoning.

As Sunol Regional Wilderness is nearby to where I grew up, I set out to trace it. I have lots of memories hiking here as a kid and working here as a summer camp counselor. It was rewarding to finally explore every last trail after all those years.
