Telescope Peak from Ballarat

Ira wanted to head down to Death Valley, so I happily came with him. We hiked into Panamint City from Ballarat. Ira spend a day resting there, while I climbed Telescope Peak from the south. The ridge south of the peak is beautiful and remote. We explored Panamint City some more, and then headed back down Surprise Canyon.
